about

This track, "The Day Will Come" is reverent vocal and piano music set to last words uttered moments by the Báb, who was executed on July 9, 1850 in Tabríz by order of the Prime Minister of the Persian Empire only because of the Báb's claim and teachings as the herald for Bahá'u'lláh, who was the Messenger of God who founded the Bahá'í Faith.

"On a spring evening in 1844, a conversation took place between two young men that heralded a new era for the human race. A Persian merchant announced to a traveller in the city of Shiraz that He was the Bearer of a Divine Revelation destined to transform the spiritual life of humanity. This music is being released to make it available for friends around the world to listen to for personal reflection and meditation, and for sharing during community programs dedicated to commemorating the day of the Martyrdom of the Báb, which is recognized by Bahá'is as a Holy Day.

“O wayward generation!” were the last words of the Báb to the gazing multitude, as the regiment prepared to fire its volley, “Had you believed in Me every one of you would have followed the example of this youth, who stood in rank above most of you, and would have willingly sacrificed himself in My path. The day will come when you will have recognized Me; that day I shall have ceased to be with you.”
